The Book Group meets on the second Wednesday of each month at 10.00am in St Michaels Church Hall, The Marld, Ashtead.  Here we enjoy free parking and a choice of morning coffee/tea/cake/biscuits, for a small donation, while we chat about the current book.

We have a full complement  of 10 members, each member takes a turn choosing a book, going to the library to reserve enough copies for each member of the group.  We tend to read popular fiction.  For example this year we have read and would recommend :-

                              A Prisoner of Heaven by Ruiz Zafon

                              Exposure  by Helen Dunmore

                              Lessons in Chemistry by Bonnie Garmus.

We are a full group at the moment but talk to the Group Coordinator if you think you would like to host another, smaller Group.
