The Cinema/Theatre Group was developed with the idea of having a friend to share laughter, tears, good company and sometimes a little snooze whilst visiting mostly local venues such as Leatherhead Theatre, Dorking Halls and Epsom Playhouse.

For starters every few months a detailed list is emailed to members who then “Reply to All” so we can see who else is interested.  This group is led by Muriel but is very much a ‘Members own Group’.  Any member can email about something interesting they have seen advertised. We don’t all like the same things but if we all participate we will have a good range of tastes.  Since September we have seen two excellent National Theatre (NTLive) productions, Prima Facie and The Critic.  In November some of us will be seeing cinema screenings of “Phantom of the Opera”, “Kiss Me Kate” and “Paddington goes to Peru”…as you can see “Anything Goes”….that’s one we haven’t seen yet!
